Lando Norris has not ruled out mounting a title fightback and says all the pressure is on Formula 1 championship leader Kimi Antonelli. After a strong finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix, the McLaren driver sits fifth with 91 points behind Antonelli and 11 rounds remaining.

Norris pointed to last year’s drama, noting that Max Verstappen fell just two points short of the title after a 104‑point deficit with ten events to go. He remains confident, stating that the pressure is on Antonelli, not on him.

The McLaren team introduced a major upgrade in Hungary, featuring a new floor that gave them a significant pace advantage. Team principal Andrea Stella highlighted that the race is one of upgrades and that both teams must continue to improve after the summer break.

During the race, Norris defended his pit‑stop strategy, explaining that he wanted to undercut teammate Oscar Piastri to preserve the team’s overall performance. He remains determined to win races and believes a disciplined approach will keep the car competitive.
