The NFL has announced the Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars as the designated home teams for the 2026 London games, marking the Commanders' return to the UK after a decade. Both teams will host games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Jaguars also returning to Wembley Stadium for back-to-back weeks in the British capital.

The Jaguars bring significant London history to the matchup, having played 14 regular-season games in the UK since 2013, including 11 at Wembley as part of their multi-year stadium deal. Coming off a 13-4 season that saw them reach the playoffs, Jacksonville enters with momentum under first-year head coach Liam Coen. The Commanders, fresh off a 5-12 season, last played in London in 2016 and made history last year as the first team to play a regular-season game in Madrid.

This announcement is part of the NFL's expanded 2026 international schedule featuring nine games across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums. Paris, Melbourne and Rio De Janeiro join as new host territories while London, Madrid, Munich and Mexico City return. The international games represent a key growth strategy for the league as it continues building global fanbases and expanding beyond traditional American markets.
