Liverpool areნი exploring the terms of a deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, the 18‑year‑old who mainly operates on the right wing and is keen to move to Anfield.

The club also has its eye on Paris Saint‑Germain teammate Bradley Barcola, although Liverpool’s interest in Mbaye is independent of any potential Barcola bid. With a valuation of 145m, Barcola’s transfer would be a difficult proposition, but Liverpool could still bring in Mbaye alongside a more experienced option.

Under new manager Andoni Iraola, Liverpool want five wingers at the end of the window, with an additional young talent to develop. The departure of club legend Mohamed Salah has left a gap on the right, and the arrival of Victor Munoz this summer underlines the focus on width.

Mbaye, who came through PSG’s youth system and debuted in August 2024 at palpable 16, has already made history as the youngest African to score at the 2026 World Cup, netting in Senegal’s 3‑1 loss to France at 18 years and 143 days old.
