England cricket great Katherine Sciver-Brunt is returning to the sport as an assistant coach for Trent Rockets Women in The Hundred for the 2026 season. This marks her first coaching role since retiring from a decorated international career, during which she took 335 wickets, a record recently surpassed by Sophie Ecclestone.

Sciver-Brunt, who played for the Rockets from 2021 to 2023, expressed her excitement to be back at Trent Bridge. "The first place I thought of was the Trent Rockets," she stated, highlighting the opportunity to mentor players. She will work under head coach Chris Read, reuniting with her wife and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, who is retained by the Nottingham-based team.

Former Nottinghamshire spinner Graeme White will also join the coaching staff as fielding coach. The Rockets' first home matchday of the upcoming competition is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, at Trent Bridge. The Hundred will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from July 21 to August 16, 2026.
