Kimi Antonelli, now 45 points ahead of Hamilton and 50 ahead of George Russell, was on flying form in Belgium, even overcoming a missed Virtual Safety Car pit stop to beat Charles Leclerc. Ferrari and Mercedes have shared two wins each in the last four rounds, with Mercedes dominating outright pace for most of the season.

The Hungaroring, a down‑force track with many corners, should play into Ferrari’s hands. Stella told Sky Sports F1 that in Hungary and the Netherlands, Ferrari will be "probably the fastest car" in the corners. Hamilton has a record eight wins at the Hungarian Grand Prix but five‑second penalties in the last two races have kept him from victory since his Barcelona‑Catalunya triumph.
