Norris Wins Dutch GP But Doubts Title Hopes

Lando Norris secured a second consecutive Formula 1 victory at the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, following his win in Hungary. Despite the masterful drive, which cut his deficit to championship leader Kimi Antonelli to 83 points, Norris insisted McLaren "don't have the car I need to fight for a championship." He highlighted a significant performance gap: while McLaren dominates high-speed corners, their slow-speed weakness and high drag will hinder them at upcoming tracks like Monza and Azerbaijan. Team principal Andrea Stella expressed optimism if improvements are confirmed at Monza.

Norris believes his driving has reached a higher level than his strong 2025 finish, citing better off-track collaboration with engineers. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton sit tied on points, 59 behind Antonelli.
