Hearn: Joshua never withdraws; Fury is the flight risk

Promoter Eddie Hearn has dismissed Tyson Fury's fears that an all-British heavyweight clash between Fury and Anthony Joshua might not happen, asserting that Joshua has a history of never withdrawing from fights. Fury recently cast doubt on the bout, suggesting he might face 'somebody else'.

Hearn countered by pointing to Fury's own track record of fight withdrawals, stating that Fury is the greater flight risk. He highlighted Joshua's professional attitude and solid resume, questioning if the same could be said for Fury. Hearn recalled that Fury previously pulled out of a fight with Joshua due to an arbitration ruling involving Deontay Wilder.

Hearn believes Fury's comments are likely mind games, a tactic he is known for. He anticipates an epic build-up to the fight, expected in November, and is confident Joshua is mature enough to handle any psychological tactics. The promoter stressed that the only potential obstacles to the fight are defeat or injury for either boxer in their upcoming bouts.
