The league phase draw for the 2026/27 Champions League will take place on Thursday in Monaco. A total of 36 teams will enter the competition, with 29 already qualified and seven spots to be decided via qualifiers. Teams will play eight different opponents—two from each pot—under the new format now in its third season, with half the matches at home and half away.

The draw is conducted by a supercomputer that selects opponents automatically. Pot 1 includes Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. Manchester United and Aston Villa are in Pot 2. Pots 3 and 4 contain teams like Feyenoord, Lille, Napoli, RB Leipzig, and various qualifier winners.

The top eight teams in the league phase advance directly to the round of 16, while teams ranked 25th or lower are eliminated. Teams finishing 9th to 24th enter a two-legged play-off for the remaining knockout spots.
