The Champions League draw for the 2026-27 season will take place at 17:00 BST on Thursday, 27 August in Monaco. The 36 qualified teams are divided into four pots based on their UEFA club coefficient rankings.

Starting with Pot One, each team is drawn individually before being assigned eight opponents through UEFA's automated software. Paris St-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid are among the teams in Pot One.

Each team plays eight games total, facing two opponents from each pot—one home and one away. English teams cannot face other English teams during the league phase. No fixtures can be played against teams from the same country, and no team can play more than two matches against clubs from another country.

This process continues until all 36 teams have their complete fixture lists determined.
