Carlos Alcaraz is slated to make his return from a wrist injury at the upcoming Cincinnati Open in August, live on Sky Sports. The 23-year-old Spaniard, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, has been sidelined since withdrawing from the Barcelona Open in April, forcing him to miss the French Open and Wimbledon.

Organizers confirmed that the world No 3 will defend his title in Cincinnati, marking his first competitive appearance since April. Alcaraz secured the Cincinnati Open title last year when Jannik Sinner retired in the final. This return is crucial as he aims to build momentum before defending his US Open crown.

World No 1 Jannik Sinner is also confirmed to compete in Cincinnati. Sinner has had a dominant year, winning all five ATP Masters 1000 events and successfully defending his Wimbledon title while Alcaraz was out injured. The Cincinnati Open runs from August 13-23 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
