Beau Greaves has achieved a significant milestone in darts, becoming the first woman to qualify for the European Tour. The 22-year-old secured her place at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in August by winning through the European Tour 11 qualifier, where she produced a remarkable 103.03 average in her decisive 6-4 victory over Tom Bissell.

Greaves' journey through the qualifiers included wins against Andy Boulton, Charlie Manby, and Arno Merk. This latest achievement follows a string of historic performances for Greaves, who earlier this year became the first woman to claim a PDC ranking title by defeating Michael Smith. She also previously defeated world number one Luke Littler at the PDC World Youth Championships and recorded the first nine-dart finish by a woman on tour.

Her success builds on the pioneering efforts of other female darts players like Lisa Ashton, Fallon Sherrock, and Anastasia Dobromyslova. Greaves' qualification signals a growing presence for women in top-tier darts competitions, challenging traditional barriers and opening new possibilities for female athletes on the professional circuit.
