Kim Le Court of Mauritius claimed the green jersey at the Lloyd's Tour of Britain Women after winning stage three to the Great Orme in Llandudno. The AG Insurance-Soudal rider launched a decisive attack with three kilometres remaining on the winding climb, finishing 13 seconds ahead of Germany's Liane Lippert and Sweden's Caroline Andersson.

Le Court, 30, now leads the overall classification by 26 seconds over Lippert, with Netherlands' Lorena Wiebes in third place, 35 seconds behind. Last year's race ended in disappointment for Le Court after a heavy crash, but this year she demonstrated strong form in dry conditions.

Wiebes, 27, had won the opening two stages but lost the overall lead on the Great Orme, finishing 42 seconds behind Le Court. The blue queen of the mountains jersey went to Britain's Lauren Dickson of FDJ United-Suez, while Belgium's Fleur Moors retains the white young rider's jersey.

The stage covered 104.7km from Mold, with Le Court completing it in 2hrs 46mins 10secs to move firmly into contention for overall victory.
