Aaron McKenna is brimming with ambition. The 160‑pounder will fight for the IBF middleweight title this Saturday in Dublin, live on Sky Sports. He says the bout with Etinosa Oliha is just the start: he wants to clean up the division, become undisputed and finish his career as a heavyweight.

McKenna, standing 6 foot 3, believes his reach and body type will let him add weight without losing speed. “Once I’m done at 160 lb, I’ll move to 168 and then 175, and ultimately take a fight at heavyweight,” he told Sky Sports. “Footwork and boxing can still beat the big men.”

He has already sparred with Carlos Adames at Robert Garcia’s gym and sees a future unification against Adames, and Denzel Bentley. His manager, Mike Borao, says the focus is the Saturday bout, but notes an Ireland‑vs‑UK showdown could be on the cards once the title is on the line.
