Orlando City has parted ways with head coach Oscar Pareja after six seasons, marking the first coaching change of the 2026 MLS season. The Colombian manager, who joined the club in 2020, leaves following three consecutive losses to start the campaign, including a 5-0 defeat to New York City FC.

Pareja's tenure included significant achievements, most notably leading Orlando to their first trophy since joining MLS in 2015 - the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He also guided the team to their first MLS playoff appearance in 2020 and established a club-record six straight postseason berths, currently the longest active streak in the league. General manager Ricardo Moreira praised Pareja's contributions to building the team's competitive foundation.

Assistant coach Martín Perelman will take interim charge as Orlando prepares to host CF Montréal on Saturday. Pareja, who previously coached FC Dallas, Colorado Rapids, and Tijuana in Liga MX, expressed gratitude for his time with the club, calling his experience with Orlando "special" and wishing the team future success.
