Weston McKennie is on the verge of signing a new contract with Juventus that will keep him at the Serie A club through 2030, according to sources. The 27-year-old USMNT midfielder's current deal expires at season's end, but he's agreed to fresh terms with the Italian giants after establishing himself as a key player under manager Luciano Spalletti.

McKennie has been deployed across multiple positions this season, playing as full-back, winger, central midfielder, and even makeshift forward in a Champions League match against Galatasaray. His versatility has made him indispensable to Spalletti's tactical plans since the Italian took charge in October. Teams from Italy, Spain, the U.S., and England had been monitoring the American international, but McKennie has opted to commit his future to Juventus.

Since joining from Schalke in 2021, McKennie has earned 62 caps for the U.S. national team and is expected to play a crucial role in their home World Cup campaign this summer. His decision to stay comes after uncertainty during Igor Tudor's brief tenure at the start of the season. Under Spalletti, McKennie has become one of the first names on the team sheet, cementing his status as a Juventus cornerstone for the next five years.
