The Los Angeles Rams are signing free agent kicker Brandon McManus, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo on Tuesday. The move comes after the Rams released Harrison Mevis and kicker Blake Grupe tore his ACL in a Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

The Rams worked out McManus and free agent kicker Matt Prater on Tuesday. Grupe had been signed to replace Mevis, who missed a 50-yard field goal attempt and then had a 48-yarder blocked in overtime of the Rams' Week 5 loss. Grupe was playing in his first game for the Rams when he suffered the injury.

McManus last kicked for the Green Bay Packers, whom he joined in 2024. He was 44 of 51 for Green Bay over two seasons, with six misses coming during the 2025 season. He spent his first nine seasons with the Denver Broncos and one with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

McManus was not on a roster to start the 2024 season while being investigated by the NFL for possible violations of the personal conduct policy. In September 2024, the NFL announced he was not in violation of the policy, and he signed with the Packers three weeks later.
