Manchester United faced AC Milan in a 4‑2 defeat during a preseason friendly in Wroclaw, Poland. Despite Bruno Fernandes missing an early penalty, United opened the scoring when a corner he delivered was powerfully headed home by Harry Maguire.

Milan, managed by former United boss Ruben Amorim, equalised after a defensive mix‑up, with Gonçalo Ramos feeding Samuel Chukwueze for the goal. A second United penalty was saved by keeper Lorenzo Torriani. United regained the lead when Patrick Dorgu pounced on a loose back‑pass, but Milan answered again when Chukwueze’s shot was poked in by Alphadjo Cissè.

The match saw Marcus Rashford return to the squad as a substitute, his first appearance since returning from Spain, after being frozen out by Amorim and loaned to Aston Villa and then Barcelona. He made a brief cameo at the hour mark.

Milan sealed the win with a late goal from Ramos and a fourth from former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus‑Cheek.
