Hansi Flick has cautioned that football can change quickly, even as Barcelona extended their winning start to 10 matches with a Champions League victory on Tuesday.
The result keeps Barcelona firmly in form at the start of the season, with the club continuing to build momentum in both domestic and European competition. Flick's message, however, was one of caution rather than celebration, as he stressed that results can turn quickly in top-level football and that the squad must remain focused on each match as it comes.
The Champions League win adds further weight to a campaign that has been defined by consistency. Barcelona have shown resilience and control across recent fixtures, and the run of victories has placed them among the strongest sides in Europe at this stage.
For Flick, the priority is maintaining standards rather than looking too far ahead. His remarks reflect a coach aware that long unbeaten runs are difficult to sustain, and that complacency is one of the biggest risks for a team at the top. With a demanding schedule ahead, the emphasis will remain on preparation, discipline and keeping the same intensity that has carried the club to this point.
