New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough said he shares the same frustrations as owner Gayle Benson, who called the team's 1-4 start "unacceptable." Benson, in a rare public criticism, stated she won't make excuses for the team's poor performance. Shough acknowledged the comments were visible on social media but emphasized the need to focus on their daily process. He noted that external narratives, whether positive or negative, should not dictate their approach.
Coach Kellen Moore also addressed the situation, stating the team is aware of the expectations and is focused on improving. He mentioned missing a few opportunities but expressed confidence in the team's mindset. The Saints are set to face the New York Giants on Sunday.
