Borussia Dortmund is monitoring Jadon Sancho as Manchester United's winger faces an uncertain future this summer. The 24-year-old England international, currently on loan at Aston Villa, will be out of contract in June, and United reportedly have no intention of exercising their one-year extension option.

Dortmund sporting director Lars Ricken confirmed the club is analyzing several potential signings, including Sancho, to replace outgoing players like Julian Brandt and Niklas Süle. "We are looking for an offensive player who brings quality, can help us immediately, and doesn't require an unrealistic transfer fee," Ricken told Sport Bild.

Sancho previously starred for Dortmund from 2017 to 2021 before joining United in an €85 million ($114m) deal. He returned to Dortmund on loan for the second half of the 2023-24 season, then spent a year at Chelsea before joining Villa at the start of this campaign. The winger has contributed one goal and three assists in 31 appearances this season.
