Chelsea has been fined £10 million for admitting to 74 breaches of Football Association agent rules. Initially facing a suspended six-point deduction, the club successfully appealed, resulting in the penalty being replaced by a suspended two-window transfer ban. This ban will be active if Chelsea commits similar breaches before June 30, 2027.

The breaches relate to FA regulations concerning agents, intermediaries, and third-party investment in players. Chelsea's new owners self-reported these historical issues in 2022 while acquiring the club from Roman Abramovich. The FA stated the £10m fine will be used to fund grassroots football. Chelsea has previously reached settlements with the Premier League and UEFA regarding similar matters.
