Barcelona have confirmed the signing of German forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. The deal is reported to be worth an initial €22 million ($25 m) plus up to €7 million ($7.9 m) in add‑ons, with Dortmund also receiving a percentage of any future transfer profit.

Adeyemi, 24, arrives after four seasons at Dortmund, where he scored 36 goals in 146 appearances. He joined the club in 2022 from RB Salzburg and has been praised for his versatility across the front line.

The German striker is the second summer addition to Barca after the €70 million ($78 m) arrival of England winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United. Coach Hansi Flick—who gave Adeyemi his Germany debut—was keen to secure the forward.

With Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Ferran Torres already in the ranks, Barcelona reportedly remains in pursuit of a classic No. 9 to round out the attack. Sources told ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens that the club is monitoring potential targets as the window closes.
