Enzo Maresca emphasized that Manchester City cannot rely solely on Erling Haaland for goals, despite the striker's 13 goals this season. After a 1-0 loss to Brighton dropped them from the top of the Premier League, Maresca stressed the need for other players to contribute. He noted that while Haaland is always a threat, the team must create and convert chances collectively.
City face RB Leipzig in the Champions League, having previously beaten Porto and AEK Athens. Phil Foden, who scored a hat-trick against the Greek side, spoke about his return to form after a red card and suspension, expressing hope for a future England call-up. Maresca highlighted the squad's depth and the importance of managing player fitness throughout the long season.
