Carlo Ancelotti will extend his contract with Brazil's Football Confederation, keeping him in charge until the 2030 World Cup in the United States.

The Italian manager, already the highest-paid coach in Brazil's history earning €10 million ($12 million) annually, will not receive a salary increase. However, his four coaching staff members will see their salaries adjusted. Ancelotti, 66, expressed his desire to extend the deal through 2030 during a September press conference after taking charge following his departure from Real Madrid in May 2025. He aims to guide Brazil to their sixth World Cup title, a trophy they last won in 2002.

Ancelotti's squad for the upcoming international friendlies against France in Boston and Croatia in Orlando on March 16th is still being finalized. Brazil's World Cup campaign begins against Morocco on June 13th in Group C, alongside Scotland and Haiti. The extension announcement is expected before the squad announcement.

This deal secures Ancelotti's position as Brazil's manager through the next World Cup, a significant commitment for a coach who has already achieved notable success with the national team.
