Tennessee Titans wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit from Chicago Bears safety Xavier Woods during joint practice Thursday. The play occurred toward the end of practice when Robinson caught a pass across the middle from Cam Ward. Robinson got up and walked into the building under his own power.

Titans coach Robert Saleh called the hit "cheap" when asked about the incident. Woods, who played for Tennessee last year, was immediately confronted by Titans center Austin Schlottmann and left guard Peter Skoronski after delivering the hit, leading to multiple altercations as coaches tried to regain control. Skoronski criticized the hit, saying it violated practice standards and was "totally uncalled for" in a thud period, adding that while competitiveness is expected, such hits are unnecessary and unacceptable.

Robinson signed a four-year, $70 million deal with the Titans in March. Saleh confirmed starters will play in the preseason finale against the Bears on Saturday at Nissan Stadium, though Robinson's status for the game remains unclear.
