The Las Vegas Raiders are set to hire Mike McCoy as their assistant head coach under first-time head coach Klint Kubiak, sources told ESPN. McCoy brings extensive NFL experience to the staff after serving as Tennessee Titans interim head coach following Brian Callahan's midseason firing in 2025.

McCoy's coaching career spans multiple teams and roles, including four seasons as Los Angeles Chargers head coach from 2013-2016, where he compiled a 27-37 record with one playoff appearance. He also served as Denver Broncos offensive coordinator in two separate stints (2009-2012, 2017) and spent 2018 with the Arizona Cardinals before being fired midseason.

Kubiak and McCoy have a prior connection from McCoy's 2017 season in Denver, when Kubiak was an offensive assistant. The Raiders are also interviewing Seattle Seahawks wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson for their offensive coordinator position, according to sources. McCoy most recently worked as Jacksonville Jaguars quarterbacks coach from 2022-2024 before joining the Titans' staff.
