Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has essentially confirmed he will become the Las Vegas Raiders' next head coach following Super Bowl 60 victory. During an on-field interview with NFL Network after Seattle's 29-13 win over the New England Patriots, the 38-year-old emphatically stated, 'Hell yeah, I'm going. Of course, I'm going.' The Raiders have yet to officially announce the hire but are expected to name Kubiak as their third head coach in three seasons.

Kubiak's stock soared after one season in Seattle, where he led the NFL's third-ranked scoring offense at 28.4 points per game and eighth in total yards at 351.4 per game during the 2025 regular season. The son of former Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, who won Super Bowl 50, Kubiak would succeed Pete Carroll after the Raiders' dismal 3-14 finish in 2025. Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold praised his departing coordinator, saying, 'Klint's the man. He's a great person and a really smart guy... I think he's going to do great things in Vegas.'

The Raiders hold the No 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and are expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza. With the franchise having made the playoffs only twice since their 2002 Super Bowl appearance and none since 2021, Kubiak faces immense pressure to revitalize a team that has struggled since moving from Oakland to Las Vegas in 2020.
