Super League have received an investment offer from the ARLC which governs the NRL in Australia, as part of the sport's recapitalisation project. RL Commercial confirmed the offer in a statement, adding that Super League clubs have been informed but details remain confidential.

Former NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo previously spoke about the NRL's planned involvement, emphasising a focus on the "globalisation" of rugby league. He said the goal is a partnership to grow the game and revenues, with ARLC Chairman Peter V'Landys now leading the talks.

RL Commercial managing director Rhodri Jones noted that while the NRL wants influence on the commission, governance complexity must be addressed. Talks have now moved into the next negotiation phase.
