Denver Broncos owner George Spanos confirmed the team will focus on addressing the tight end position with their No. 62 overall pick in the 2026 draft, per ESPN's Jeff Legwold. Legwold, who has covered the Broncos for 20+ years, reported that Denver has prioritized visiting prospects like Max Klare (Ohio State) and Eli Stowers (Vanderbilt)—both high-end TE recruits with downfield threat potential. Stowers, in particular, stands out with his 45½-inch vertical jump, 11-foot-3 broad jump, and 7-foot high jump, setting combine records in multiple events.

Klare, a former Buckeye receiver, has also drawn attention for his route-running and reliability in the red zone.
