The Denver Broncos have re-signed running back J.K. Dobbins to a two-year, $20 million contract that includes $8 million fully guaranteed at signing, NFL Network reported Monday. Dobbins, 27, confirmed his return through social media, posting a photo with the hashtag #Home.

Dobbins proved his value to Denver during the 2025 season after joining the team during minicamp last June. He led the Broncos in carries (153), rushing yards (772), and runs of at least 10 yards (21). However, a foot injury suffered in a November win over the Las Vegas Raiders sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

This marks Dobbins' second stint with Denver, where his explosive running style made an immediate impact when healthy. His 772 rushing yards in 2025 and 905 yards for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2024 were career highs in back-to-back seasons. Broncos coach Sean Payton cited Dobbins' absence as a significant factor in Denver's struggles to establish consistency in the run game down the stretch.
