ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Ahead of a primetime matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, the Denver Broncos practiced Wednesday with three of their four running backs either limited or out of practice, with coach Sean Payton saying he still hoped for the best. J.K. Dobbins, who left Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third quarter with a left hamstring injury, and RJ Harvey, who did not play Sunday because of a hamstring injury, were both limited in practice. Rookie Jonah Coleman did not practice due to an ankle sprain.

Asked Wednesday if he had concerns about the position heading into Sunday's game, Payton didn't offer details but added, "I think we're good at that position ... I think we're going to be all right." Tyler Badie was the only running back on the active roster who was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Coleman had his first career touchdown on a 3-yard run against the Jaguars. Dobbins, who leads the Broncos in carries (18) and yards rushing (72) through two games, missed seven games in 2025 after a foot injury. The Broncos worked out three running backs Tuesday but had not signed any as of Wednesday.
