Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will miss the 2026 All-Star Game due to a lingering right knee issue. Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced the decision before Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, marking Curry's fourth consecutive absence with patellofemoral pain syndrome, commonly known as runner's knee.

Curry has been sidelined since the issue flared up during a workout two weeks ago. After attempting to play through the pain in two games, he exited early during a loss to the Detroit Pistons and has been undergoing individual rehabilitation work. The two-time MVP will also miss Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs but hopes to return after the All-Star break on February 19 against the Boston Celtics.

Curry joins Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as confirmed All-Star absences for Sunday's showcase in Los Angeles. The NBA has yet to announce who will replace Curry on Team USA. This injury adds to the Warriors' mounting health concerns as they navigate the season without their star point guard.
