Quatraro recently signed a contract extension through 2029, with a club option for 2030. He took over from Mike Matheny after the 2022 season and has guided the Royals to a 267-322 record. The team achieved consecutive winning seasons in 2023 and 2024 for the first time in a decade, and Quatraro finished second in AL Manager of the Year voting last season. This season, however, the Royals' record is among the worst in the league.
