The Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their second consecutive World Series championship with a ceremonial ring presentation before Friday night's game. Shohei Ohtani removed his ring from a blue box featuring highlights from the 2025 postseason, including their Game 7 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. He proudly displayed it before the crowd. This marks the first time in franchise history the Dodgers have won back-to-back titles, their third championship in six years.

Shortstop Mookie Betts, who already owns four rings (three with LA, one with Boston), jogged to the mound with a smile, hinting at his goal to reach five rings. World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto received loud cheers, while Freddie Freeman's acceptance of his third ring prompted chants of 'Freddie! Freddie!' Freeman won his first title with Atlanta. The entire team gathered around the mound to show off the bling, hosted by actor-comedian Anthony Anderson.

The rings are elaborate, studded with diamonds and sapphires. Each features a ring-within-a-ring, dirt from Game 7's home plate, and inscriptions including 'World Champions' spelled out in 86 diamonds. The L.A. logo contains 17 blue sapphires representing their 17 postseason wins. The ceremony concluded with Orel Hershiser throwing a ceremonial first pitch, replaced by Clayton Kershaw, who retired after 18 years with the Dodgers and was then presented his ring by teammates.
