President Donald Trump hosted the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers at the White House, celebrating their second consecutive title. Trump lauded the team as "one of the great brands anywhere in the world" during a Rose Garden event.

He specifically praised Shohei Ohtani, comparing him to Babe Ruth, and noted the Dodgers' dramatic Game 7 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. Trump also presented with two World Series trophies and a Trump 47 jersey, receiving a replica World Series ring in return.

This marks the Dodgers' second White House visit under Trump, having previously been saluted in April 2025 for their 2024 championship. Manager Dave Roberts expressed the team's ambition for a "three-peat."
