Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles won 100-meter titles at the U.S. track and field championships Friday at Icahn Stadium. Richardson, 26, overcame a slow start to finish in 10.77 seconds, beating training partner Kayla White by 0.13 seconds for her third national title. "It feels phenomenal to be back in a better place -- healthy, mentally, physically, emotionally," said Richardson, who battled injuries last year.

Lyles, the reigning Olympic champion, matched his personal-best 9.79 seconds to claim his third 100m crown. The 27-year-old surged past Ronnie Baker and Kenny Bednarek, declaring, "I did what I do... Winning, running fast, that feeling of flying." Lyles, who married in April and recently met Usain Bolt, warned competitors: "I'm scared for y'all next year."

Christian Coleman, Richardson's partner, placed fourth. Erin Marsh won the heptathlon with 6,059 points, edging Timara Chapman by 38 points. Garrett Scantling took the decathlon by 95 points over Kyle Garland. Euphenie Andre and Tyus Wilson captured triple jump and high jump titles respectively.
