Jake Paul's MVP Promotions is merging with the PFL, shifting PFL operations under the MVP umbrella to create a unified combat sports company encompassing boxing and MMA. This move aims to disrupt the industry, which has long been dominated by the UFC, by offering fighters fair pay and a modernized platform.

MVP, co-founded by Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, aims to accelerate its vision of creating global superstars. PFL CEO John Martin will continue to lead operations. The PFL, established in 2018 and known for acquiring Bellator MMA in 2023, boasts a roster including Dakota Ditcheva and Usman Nurmagomedov.

The merger combines MVP's marketing expertise with the PFL's established fighter roster and global reach. MVP's inaugural MMA event on Netflix drew 12.4 million viewers, peaking at 17 million during Ronda Rousey's fight. The PFL currently airs on ESPN through 2026, and MVPW also airs on ESPN.
