Most Valuable Promotions has launched MVPW, a new women's boxing league featuring 43 fighters including seven-division champion Amanda Serrano. The inaugural event MVPW1 will take place on 5 April in London, headlined by a lightweight unification bout between Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper. The league represents a major investment by Jake Paul's promotion company in female boxing.

MVPW events will air on ESPN in the United States and Sky Sports in the UK, with the first title defense scheduled for 17 April when Alycia Baumgardner defends her WBO, WBA, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin in New York. The league's structure remains unclear, with MVP describing it as both a "global platform" and a league on social media.

Seven-division champion Amanda Serrano joined other fighters at a news conference where MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian discussed potential future plans. While MVPW could introduce its own belt, Bidarian emphasized working with existing sanctioning bodies to create the "best possible match-ups." The league aims to capitalize on proposed changes to boxing regulations that would allow league-style formats while maintaining fighter protections.
