Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and the Professional Fighters League (PFL) have officially merged, creating what they describe as "a combat sports company for the new era." The combined entity will be led by MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, alongside PFL CEO John Martin.

The PFL brand will operate under MVP, bringing together a roster of over 300 fighters. MVP, initially focused on boxing, expanded into mixed martial arts (MMA) in May. "We started MVP to disrupt a broken model," stated Paul. "Joining forces with PFL accelerates that vision by a decade." The merger aims to provide fighters with fair pay and a modern platform, with Paul extending an invitation to fighters from other organizations.

This union follows MVP's record-breaking MMA event on Netflix, which reportedly garnered 17 million viewers globally. The PFL, established in 2017, features a league-based system with season-ending playoffs and previously offered a $1m prize, later adjusted to $500,000. "We're bringing an entire combat sports community together and creating a more powerful platform to accelerate growth," said Martin. The merger also follows MVP's recent partnership with Matchroom Boxing to enhance opportunities for female fighters.
