Indiana coach Curt Cignetti has secured the highest-rated commit in program history: five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales. Sales, ranked No. 18 in the SC Next 300 and ESPN's No. 4 wide receiver in the 2027 cycle, announced his commitment to the Hoosiers over Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, and LSU.

At 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, Sales is ESPN's No. 4 wide receiver prospect in the 2027 cycle and the state of Indiana's highest-ranked player since Jaylon Smith in 2013. His commitment is a significant in-state recruiting win and the latest milestone for Cignetti, following Indiana's national championship. Sales joins other top recruits like Jalaythan Mayfield and Mason McDermott in the Hoosiers' 2027 class.

Sales, originally from Alabama, is a two-way star from Indianapolis' Lawrence North High School. As a junior, he recorded 37 catches for 794 yards and nine touchdowns, while also contributing on defense. ESPN national recruiting director Tom Luginbill praised Sales' combination of size and speed. Sales' pledge makes him the highest-ranked addition in school history if he signs, surpassing Dasan McCullough from the Class of 2022.
