Parker Kingston, BYU's leading receiver in 2025 with 66 catches for 924 yards and five touchdowns, has been charged with first-degree felony rape following a yearlong investigation. The Washington County (Utah) Attorney's Office announced the charge after a 20-year-old woman reported a sexual assault on Feb. 23, 2025. Digital and forensic evidence, along with witness interviews, led to Kingston's arrest.

He remains in custody without bail and faces a court appearance in Utah's Fifth Judicial District Court on Friday. BYU issued a statement acknowledging awareness of the arrest but cited privacy laws to avoid further comment. This marks the second high-profile sexual misconduct allegation involving a BYU athlete in a year, following former quarterback Jake Retzlaff's dismissed civil lawsuit in May 2025.
