BYU wide receiver Parker Kingston, 21, was formally charged with one count of felony rape in Washington County, Utah, following the unsealing of documents revealing new details about the investigation. The charges stem from an alleged assault involving a 20-year-old woman who contacted police at St. George Regional Hospital on February 27, 2025. Documents unsealed Thursday show the victim met with investigators months later, disclosing online communications where she clearly stated she did not want to have sex with Kingston.

She set boundaries prior to their February 23, 2025, meeting where, after some sexual activity, Kingston allegedly initiated intercourse again despite her repeated protests and attempts to push him off. Kingston claims all activity was consensual, but police say cell phone records indicate he arrived with the intent of sexual intercourse. Kingston is scheduled for an initial appearance before a judge on Friday, February 13.

Charges are allegations only, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
