Global music superstars Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, and K-pop group BTS are set to headline the 11-minute halftime show at the World Cup final on July 19. Curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, the performance outside New York will also feature Afrobeats star Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus, and characters from "Sesame Street."

The halftime show aims to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which is working to raise $100 million for children's education. Both Bieber and Burna Boy expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform and support the educational initiative.

Burna Boy is also a co-performer on this year's official World Cup song, "Dai Dai," with Shakira, blending Afrobeats and Latin rhythms. This halftime extravaganza marks a departure from typical soccer events, which usually feature pre-match concerts, and is being likened to the NFL's Super Bowl halftime spectacle.
