FIFA has officially confirmed "Dai Dai" as the 2026 World Cup song, a collaboration between Colombian star Shakira and Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy. The global music giants joined forces for what FIFA described as "a vibrant celebration of football, culture and unity." The announcement came Friday from Zurich.

Shakira hinted at the collaboration in early May, sharing a minute-long teaser clip from the iconic Maracaná Stadium on social media. The track is now available on major streaming platforms. All royalties will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, adding a charitable dimension to the musical partnership.

The July 19 final in New Jersey will feature an extraordinary halftime show headlined by Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. The World Cup begins in June, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
