NBA Playoff Picture & Milestones
The San Antonio Spurs clinched a postseason berth for the first time in six years after rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama delivered a game-winning 17-foot fadeaway jumper with only 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock Thursday night. Elsewhere in the Eastern Conference picture, the Cavaliers secured a narrow 115-110 victory over the Bulls despite star guard Donovan Mitchell sitting out due to a bruised left eye sustained earlier in the week. Meanwhile, LeBron James matched Robert Parish’s all-time record by logging his 1,611th career game, a feat the Celtics legend acknowledged as "deserving" of the impending milestone break.
Ceremonial Honors
The Charlotte Hornets paid tribute to franchise legend Dell Curry during halftime of their contest against the Magic, retiring his No. 30 jersey in an emotional ceremony that reportedly brought the former sharpshooter close to tears as the banner was raised to the rafters.
