Galderma has signed an agreement to acquire ZO Skin Health for an enterprise value of $1.5 billion USD. The acquisition strengthens Galderma’s physician-dispensed skincare portfolio by combining ZO Skin Health’s premium, science-backed daily regimens with its existing Alastin® regenerative skincare offerings. ZO Skin Health, founded by dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi and headquartered in Irvine, California, has over 40 products sold through more than 16,500 physician and medical spa accounts across 40+ countries.
The brand recorded approximately $330 million in net sales over the last twelve months as of June 2026. Galderma’s CEO, Flemming Ørnskov, M. D., MPH, stated the deal advances the company’s goal of building the world’s most innovative dermatology portfolio and supports long-term growth in the fast-growing medical-grade skincare segment.
The transaction is expected to be Core EPS neutral in the first full year following closing. Galderma will leverage its global scale, Integrated Dermatology Strategy, and omni-channel capabilities to support ZO Skin Health’s next phase of growth. The acquisition unites two complementary brands with strong clinical credentials and trusted positions among dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Dr. Zein Obagi expressed confidence that ZO Skin Health’s philosophy will endure and grow under Galderma’s stewardship.
