Wynnchurch Capital has agreed to acquire Arcosa Inc's barge business for $450 million in cash, marking a significant move in the inland marine sector. The transaction, expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, will transfer Arcosa Marine's operations, which manufacture inland barges, fiberglass covers, winches, and marine hardware along US river systems. Arcosa CEO Antonio Carrillo stated the company is transitioning to an owner aligned with its long-term growth, citing a strong backlog and healthy replacement cycle.

Wells Fargo and Paul Hastings advised Wynnchurch, while Gibson Dunn & Crutcher represented Arcosa. This acquisition positions Wynnchurch to expand its portfolio within the infrastructure-related products market.
