Keltec, based in Hudson, Ohio, specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing filtration solutions. It has acquired AJF Filtration, a Chicago-based maker of process liquid and dust collection filtration products. The acquisition was backed by Vance Street Capital, which invested in Keltec in 2024.

AJF Filtration was founded in 1997. The combined entity offers a broad portfolio that includes air/oil separators, air filters, oil filters, coalescing filters, hydraulic filters, and refrigerated air dryers. The deal aims to strengthen Keltec’s position in the filtration market.

Lincoln International acted as financial advisor for Vance Street, while Winston Taylor LLP and Baird served as legal and financial advisors respectively for AJR. Debt financing was provided by Apogem Capital and BMO. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Nic Janneck, partner at Vance Street, said the company respects the AJR team and its long‑standing technical expertise and customer relationships.

The acquisition expands Keltec’s capabilities in process liquid and dust collection filtration, complementing its existing air and oil filtration offerings. By integrating AJF’s product lines, Keltec can provide more comprehensive solutions to industrial customers seeking reliable, high‑quality filtration systems. The deal reflects growing demand for advanced filtration technologies across manufacturing and HVAC sectors.
