Tencarva, a Greensboro, North Carolina distributor, has expanded its footprint by acquiring WWaterTech, a Texas‑based water and wastewater equipment representative. The deal, backed by Bessemer Investors, brings WWaterTech’s municipal portfolio into Tencarva’s industrial and municipal service network. The move signals a push toward integrated flow‑control solutions for utilities across the southern United States.

WWaterTech, founded in 2006, has served municipal markets in Texas and Oklahoma, supplying system suppliers and manufacturers. President Steve Holt will shift to an advisory role, while Wes Holt steps into branch manager duties. The acquisition preserves local expertise while scaling Tencarva’s reach across the region’s water infrastructure for utilities and public works.

The transaction strengthens Tencarva’s position in the growing municipal water market, aligning with industry trends toward integrated solutions and vendor consolidation. By adding WWaterTech’s established customer base, Tencarva can streamline sales, support, and service offerings, potentially boosting revenue streams and market share in a sector where reliability and compliance dominate buyer decisions for long‑term growth.

Investors eye the deal as a strategic play to capture a larger slice of the water equipment distribution market, which is projected to grow annually by double‑digit percentages. The backing from Bessemer Investors adds credibility and financial muscle, positioning Tencarva to compete against larger regional players and capitalize on emerging smart‑water technologies and future innovations.
