Triumph, a global provider of education, training and recruitment for hospitality and culinary arts, has expanded its portfolio through a new acquisition. The company has acquired the Culinary Institute of Barcelona (CIB), a private international culinary school founded in 2017 by Ferran Fisas, Josep Gala and Pep Nogué. The deal brings CIB into Triumph’s culinary education network alongside Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Camden Partners, which invested in Triumph in 2014, backs the expansion. The acquisition strengthens Triumph’s global footprint, adding a campus in Barcelona and furthering its mission to deliver career‑focused culinary education. CIB will continue operating from its Barcelona campus, offering a range of programs that attract students worldwide.

Triumph’s network now serves more than 8,000 students annually, boasts an alumni base of over 25,000, and employs more than 150 faculty and chef instructors across North America and Europe. The move is expected to enhance opportunities for students and professionals in the food industry.
